The Bible has recorded several tearful women in the scripture. In my research, for this article, I discovered there are several Bible verses about tears of a woman.

Their tears, hope and faith in God broke protocols and gave way to manifestations of the supernatural powers of God in their lives and that of their families, while others shed tears of joy, testimony and accomplishments.

These women in the Bible cried to God because of the problems they encountered and their need for a solution that was not forthcoming within their expected time.

 

Bible Verses about Tears of a Woman 

The world is filled with ups and downs and lots of women have found themselves in situations that make them tearful. The prolonged agony and pains make life frustrating, even in these situations, God is with them and willing to make a way out.

Lots of women were in this situation in the Bible and God made a way for them and they laughed at last.

I want to discuss 25 verses of the Bible that talk about the various tears of a woman in her home, workplace, family or in society at large and how God miraculously wiped their tears.

 

Tears of a Woman in Supplication

1.  Psalms 6:6

“I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping.”

These are the tears that are shaded by some women because of how the content of their hearts keeps taking them through so many frustrating situations they have encountered and the many unanswered prayers, yet they keep on trusting in God.

 

2.  Psalms 39:12

“Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear to my cry; hold not your peace at my tears! For I am a sojourner with you, a guest, like all my fathers.”

This is a prayer to God for a quick response to the prolonged prayers and heartfelt request.

This portion of the Bible expatiates that some of our women shed deceitful tears, lying in wait to achieve their aim in any situation they set out for. Sampson’s wife, Delilah deceived Sampson and he thought that he was loved by her.

She constantly pacified him by revealing the source of his strength until Sampson released all the pieces of information she needed for his indirect enemy, his wife Delilah.

 Conclusion

Women do cry regardless of age or achievements. Tears come from the tears of a woman that might be engineered by her family, the church, her occupation, her marital status or the need to meet up with societal standards.

The Bible verses mentioned above say a lot about the various instances in the Bible that made women emotional and the need to look up to God for stabilization in every aspect of life.

It is okay to shed tears, it’s not a sign of weakness but total vulnerability before God your creator for speedy action and response.

Are you in any situation that may cause you to shed some bitter tears? Cry if you must, while you cast your cares on God, he will soon show up for you and you will smile again.

Be courageous. Lean on the words of God, and draw your strength from the biblical women that cried to God. They received their answers, your situation will not be an exemption. Just hang in there, help is on its way.
